Ontario Arts Council (OAC)
OAC is the province’s primary funding body for professional arts activity. This site has information about project grants that may be available to individual artists. The OAC also administers a number of important awards and prizes.
Toronto Arts Council (TAC)
TAC is primarily a granting council. Its project grants for visual artists provide support for those with a professional independent art practice and are for the creation/production of new work or the completion of works in progress. Funds are intended to cover direct costs of creation/production, subsistence and materials.
