• Al and Malka Green Artists' Health Centre (AHC)

  Located at the Toronto Western Hospital, the AHC offers both complementary/alternative and conventional health care to professional creative and performing artists, and to students and staff at post-secondary arts institutions. The mandate includes research, education and outreach to the arts community.

  These two U.S. sites provide useful information about office ergonomics and health complaints that sometimes affect those who regularly use computers, such as Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and Repetitive Strain Injury.

• Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)

  Some artists working digital media may be covered by their employers for workplace injuries and accidents under the WSIB. This site has general information about workplace safety and information about rights and obligations of workers.
