  This City of Toronto site contains a comprehensive list of arts and culture festivals across the province.

• Canadian Actor Online

  This site is an online resource for Canadian actors, models, writers, directors and producers with links to sites providing information about professional development, networking and employment opportunities. 

• Casting Workbook 

  Casting Workbook is a commercial online service that is used by film, television and theatre producers across North America, including as a means of casting film and television productions.  Actors and models must pay to have their resume listed on the service.

  Information about jobs in the industry is available from a number of sources, including:

• Production Information

  Artists in film and television spent a good deal of time looking for work.  Information about what movies, television shows and other media productions are currently shooting or are in the planning stages is available from a wide variety of sources. Websites of the guilds and unions will have information about productions, sometimes available only to members.

  Playback has ongoing information about the Canadian industry and foreign sites such as Realscreen and www.mandy.com may report on Canadian activity.

• Talent Agent and Managers Association of Canada (TAMAC)

  TAMAC is a national organization of established agents and managers who adhere to TAMAC's business practices, code of ethics and inter-agency agreement.  TAMAC agencies represent actors, writers, directors, craftspeople and other professionals in the entertainment industry.
